Sr. Software Engineer, Micro-transaction Platform

PlaySpan is looking for Sr. Software Engineers to develop its next generation product lines and to support the customers. The candidate will enjoy the unique opportunity to join the company's core platform engineering team to design and implement the very exciting core services for virtual goods marketplace and micro-transaction platforms, and to directly support and interact with the interesting customers as well.
Your responsibility:
- Design, implement, test and support core functional modules of PlaySpan's marketplace and micro-transaction platform
- Implement Web 2.0 style applications that interfaces with the backend infrastructure
- Provide professional support to customers, including the technical communication/interaction, application customization, and service monitoring etc.
- Implement/debug third party integration services and support modules
Your Qualification:
- BS/MSCS or equivalent with at least 5-8 years of commercial Java software development on Unix/Linux environment
- Demonstrable in-depth experience in core J2EE technologies and Database technologies like mysql/Oracle
- Strong experience with agile software practices with special emphasis on unit/regression testing methodologies
- Strong passion in developing/programming and debugging commercial grade software
- Experience with Java MVC frameworks that support rich application user experiences (Spring/Struts/JSF or Similar)
- Strong communication and written skills, ability to communicate your ideas with others
- Experience in developing AJAX-based web apps is a big plus
- Experience in implementing consumer facing e-commerce system is big plus
